EXP 2: Developed Model + Lumion Captures

The light rail stop was based on the main concept of sustainable architecture that addresses a program, which in this case is a light rail stop. The design itself uses the idea of a repetition of lines and shapes to create space.

Capture 1: Entry

The entry consists of a main entry through the monumental structure to the platform as well as a more discrete entrance via the ramp which leads to the bridge.



Capture 2: The Bridge

The following image capture is of the connecting bridge between the two platforms. the bridge provides a ramp access as well as stair access to 







 Capture 3:  Sustainability - Solar Panels and Natural Light

One aspect of the light rail that addresses sustainability is the alternating windows of natural light and solar panels on the roof which allows for natural light during the daytime and solar powered lighting during the night time.









Capture 4: Sustainability - Naturally watered plants

The plants on the wall are watered by collected rainwater from the outside of the wall. The water collected seeps through filtration in the wall to water the plants when the soil is dry.



Capture 5: Seated areas and Platform

The Seated areas are elevated allowing for commuters to wait for the light rail or gather without interfering with the platform where people are arriving and departing
